A Review: Revlon Super Lustrous "Certainly Red"

Certainly Red
I'm a sucker for lippen. Especially red. Knowing I rarely wear that.. yet, I keep buying some. This one is amazing. A little bit pinkish in my opinion, and bluish.
The staying power is good. After some heavy eating, the stain will be there in your lips making you looking fresh. For a dramatic look or night make up, double swipes of this will make you look dazzling. Impressive and not drying at all. 3 stars from me, why? Because I don't like the packaging. Less chic, huh? But the formula and the color are awesome!

Only wear it once and planned to give it a go for anyone who wants it..since I owned a Russian Red. Anyone?

Review: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick #117 Almost Nude

It feels like I'm having a serious relationship with nude lipstick. The fact that I really fall for them and use them a lot though reddish colors suit me much better. This is another nude lipstick of mine and currently a favorite

low light
sufficient light

In a hot sunny day when you don't feel using way pinkish lipstick, this can be a great choice. It has a little shade of pale coral mixed with peachy touch. Literally doesn't fresh your look up, my mom always complains because this makes me kinda pale, but I insist on the fact that it is simply gorgeous.

Pros:
- very affordable, like $4 each here in Indonesia
- smooth
- doesn't make your lips dried
- classic packaging

Cons:
- poor staying power

I literally fall for this nude lipstick, this one is much better than the color burst series I ever reviewed. If you look for a neutral shade that is very affordable and smooth on your lips, this can be a choice but I don't think I will repurchase when I run out of it. Probably, I will look for the better staying power since I rarely do touch-ups.

Review : Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Blush #035

Just so you know, this is my first nude lipstick. I always fall for reddish tone and never give up on them but going with nude color literally can be nice sometimes. This is an old product from Revlon. I don't really know whether you can still find it on their counter. The newest lipstick from Revlon is the Lip Butter series but I haven't tried it yet.

I chose the shade Blush because it looked really nice on the stick, very natural, pinkish just like no lipstick lips.

It is also beautiful when being swatched as you can see above. Looks pigmented, glides smoothly on lips, and definitely moisturizes. The problem appears when I use it on my lips, it's just like I don't wear any lipstick or lipgloss.
It is literally my lips color, not even better and that's a bit disappointing. Choosing the wrong shade leads to a minor heart break. :-/
The staying power is about 2-3 hours, yes, you should regularly retouch it. The smell is not so good, just like another normal smell of lipstick.

The best thing about this lipstick is...unfortunately, for me, its packaging. From all of Revlon lipstick collections, this series bring out the best. Very sleek, elegant, and doesn't look cheap. On the cap, we can see the color of the lipstick and that makes it easy to find the right color we want to wear from outside the make up stash.

Pros:
-affordable, approx. $8 for each
-moisturizing lips
-available in many shades
-pigmented
-a little bit shiny after use effect
-elegant packaging with color sample on the top of cap

Cons:
-smells so-so
-low staying power

This one can be a good stuffs, a valuable one if you choose the right shade. Be careful with it.
